Semifinale West von Local Heroes Niedersachsen 2024

In the organizer's words:

local heroes is probably the most exciting and diverse music award for all young up-and-coming artists and bands from all over Lower Saxony, Germany and Europe.

Numerous up-and-coming musicians have performed at the regional "local heroes Niedersachsen" events in recent months. The best-placed bands, duos and soloists from the preliminary rounds will now compete in three semi-finals for a place in the final.

The event is free of commercial character and open to all interested music lovers free of charge. Visitors' votes are also in demand, as there will be an audience vote in addition to the jury vote.

The semi-final for the participants from the western districts of Lower Saxony will take place on September 14 at the Friesoyth Iron Festival. The performances will begin at 19:00 in the city center.

The following music acts will be on stage at the Semifinal West in Friesoythe:

• Dirty Dip for the district of Leer (stoner rock)
• Drunken Dinosaurs for the district of Oldenburg (pop/indie/pop-rock/hip-hop)
• Frry for the city of Osnabrück (pop-punk)
• Hannah.sky for the district of Emsland/Grafschaft Bentheim (folk/pop/Christian)
• Izzilue for the city of Oldenburg (singer-songwriter)
• Psychic Primate as wildcard (experimental/radically unconventional)
• Tanya out of competition (Metal)
• The Blue Lights as wildcard (hard rock/alternative)

This year's musical sponsor of "local heroes Niedersachsen" is Daniel Schulz - better known under his stage name Der Schulz and as the singer of the band OOMPH!

The "local heroes Niedersachsen" semi-final West is organized by the Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft Rock in Niedersachsen e. V. in cooperation with the city of Friesoythe.
