Lonesome Andy sounds as if he has come straight from the swamps of the Mississippi. His style can be placed somewhere between Delta Blues and New Orleans Jazz and grooves like an old steam engine! Voodoo rhythms, old swing numbers and the omnipresent blues, sometimes desperate, sometimes tongue-in-cheek, make for entertaining and extremely danceable entertainment.

Ancient metal resonator guitars, harmonica, percussion with both feet and, last but not least, an all-pervading blues voice are used. Lonesome Andy is a true master of his craft and masters bottleneck playing, highly complex ragtime arrangements and traditional country blues guitar techniques just as effortlessly as the harmonica.

Born in Bavaria in 1984, the "Bluesman" proves the healing effect of the blues and makes many a soul ache disappear for a while.
