Installation and photo exhibition by: Calvin Hein & Kay Kwabia
(UN)LEARNING DISTANCES enables Calvin Hein to connect his German life with his Ghanaian roots and to question the perception of belonging. Kay Kwabia takes the residency program as an opportunity to explore the Ghanaian community across borders by highlighting bonds and community dynamics. Together, the two photographers unravel notions of identity and belonging, adopting new perspectives or unlearning previous ones.
