Märchen und Musik aus Kamerun

In the organizer's words:

In this musical family workshop at the Museum Fünf Kontinente, Cameroonian-born singer, storyteller, shaman and multi-instrumentalist Njamy Sitson will introduce you to the exciting world of the Cameroonian fairy tale The Dancing Trees, accompanied by music. In this fairy tale, the forest is a magical place where everything is animated and where the trees and plants take on a new form as healing sculptures.

Participants are invited to make music together and sing along. Various musical instruments are used in the workshop - for example rattles, tonewoods, drums, a kalimba and the African harp "Ngoni".
