Every Saturday at 12 noon on the Open Space stage: the popular market concerts! This Saturday, Falk Mörsner will be playing "modern acoustic guitar".

The solo guitarist Falk Mörsner is a magician on the six strings of the guitar. His arrangements, which often make you think of two or three musicians just listening to the music, artfully and sensitively weave melody, harmony, bass and rhythm into a total work of art.

His virtuoso playing technique, which he uses in a variety of soundscapes on nylon string and steel string guitars, is not an end in itself, but serves the music, which covers the entire spectrum from pop to blues, from quiet ballads to groovy, driving Afrobeat, from swing to contemporary jazz. He spices up the vocal breaks with personal anecdotes, creating a connection between himself, the music and the audience.

In his live performances, Falk Mörsner takes the audience on an intense musical journey through the last decades of music history. His playing is exciting and varied, emotional and full of energy. He draws on the Great American Songbook, the history of film music, more recent composers from Keith Jarrett to Pat Metheny and Lars Danielsson to Esbjörn Svensson and mixes them with his own compositions.
