Because their music is healing for the strained soul: simple in melody and lyrics, but all the more compelling in groove, and always with the courage to express honest and stirring emotions, from dreamy ballads to stomping boogie, from devout gospel to traditional Memphis music.
The band members consciously cultivate "musical simplicity": polyphonic vocals and original, non-electric instruments such as harmonica, mandolin, cajon and resonator guitar.
