MAXIM speaks, thinks and sings in pictures. Captivating, clever images that transport the soul. Time and time again, he strives to merge music and words into a perfect composition. He celebrated his breakthrough in 2013 with his Top 10 album "Staub". "Meine Soldaten" became a hit and was awarded a gold record.

Maxim toured almost constantly with "Staub" for two years until time and space came together in early 2015 to start work on a follow-up. In collaboration with his producers Jochen Naaf, Farhot, Tua, Teka and the Max Herre production team Kahedi, Maxim's fifth album "Das Bisschen, was wir sind" is created - a fresh, eclectic listening experience.

Artist colleagues and fans alike appreciate MAXIM for his diversity of sound, which is unique in the German-speaking music scene. Maxim sings about injustice, love, death and conveys moods with his songs that continue to have an effect even after the last note has faded away.

The album "Reprise" (French for "re-recording") will be released in 2017 as a re-recording of 'Das Bisschen was wir sind'. Together with his 3 musicians and 2 singers, MAXIM gathered in Berlin's Red Bull Studios and rearranged nine tracks acoustically. The special feature of the recordings: They were recorded in one take, no individual tracks were added separately, creating an unusually captivating atmosphere for today.

In March 2019, the authors' jury of the Gema German Music Authors' Prize honored MAXIM with the award in the category "Best Lyrics Rock / Pop". At the same time, he is working on new releases.
