During her career as a tennis player, Andrea Petković made it into the top ten of the world rankings. After a first-round defeat at the US Open, she ended her professional career in 2022 and has since settled into a new life: as a sports commentator, journalist and writer. She established herself as a new voice on the literary scene with her impressive debut "Between Glory and Honor Lies the Night". Her second book, "Zeit, sich aus dem Staub zu machen", also left no doubt about her narrative talent. This is also reflected in her literary role models: be it Dostoyevsky's "Crime and Punishment", which her father packed in her travel bag as a young player, or David Foster Wallace, who shared her passion for tennis. In an interview with presenter and journalist Mona Ameziane, she reveals which books have influenced, impressed or fascinated her the most in her life.
