Mess Jazzengers

In the organizer's words:

"Mess Jazzengers" as guests at the Beet!

On Saturday, August 10th from 18:00 there will be jazzy rhythms and solos for your ears. The jazz band from Hanover is one of the Beet repeat offenders and we look forward to welcoming the whole gang back to Zollinlandplatz. The concert is free of charge. An artist's hat will be passed around at the end of the concert and everyone can give the band a few pennies if they like it.

The Mess Jazzengers are a "classic" jazz quintet in the hardbop tradition.
the tradition of hard bop. With the exception of
Jan Müller from Padingbüttel, the group comes from Hanover.
plays pieces by the obvious suspects
(Benny Golson, Wayne Shorter, Lee Morgan...) but also pieces by
by Thelonious Monk, Charles Mingus and many others.
Sometimes the musicians scratch a little at the
monuments in order to remove disturbing layers of dust.
