The great passion for Metallica is one of the main reasons why METAKILLA has been so successful over the years as the most authentic Metallica tribute band in Germany since 2005. With over 200 top-class shows under their belt, the band has firmly established itself in the professional tribute scene. The four full-blooded musicians from the Saarland attach the greatest importance to their show concept with an astonishing similarity, which features a powerful, precise sound, their own pyrotechnics and a unique stage look planned down to the smallest detail. The outfit and all instruments are originals of the same equipment as Metallica play on the world's biggest stages. The first highlight came in 2008, when METAKILLA were officially signed up for one of the biggest and most famous heavy metal festivals in the world, the W:O:A "Wacken Open-Air". Big things followed with appearances at the Alpenflair in South Tyrol, the Z7 in Switzerland and regularly sold-out shows in Germany's hottest clubs such as the Colos Saal in Aschaffenburg. METAKILLA are by no means just a colorless cover band. Like their great idols, they provide unbridled energy and the typical brute Metallica sound. Fans are treated to a whole firework of hits from all Metallica albums. The band celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025.
