Michaela Rabitsch, singer, composer and Austria's only top female jazz trumpeter - described by US magazine Jazzscene as "a modern day female Chet Baker" - and her congenial partner, composer and guitarist Robert Pawlik, present a program from their own pen between jazz, world and fusion. The tunes are rooted in the song-oriented styles of the jazz tradition, in hard bop, swing, modern jazz, New Orleans second line and blues, and also fuse with elements of Indian, African, Balkan and South American music.
