Patrick wants to drive from Berlin to Paris in order to get to his heavily pregnant girlfriend in time. Sophia, George, Julia and Chris join him as carpoolers and initially seem like uncomplicated passengers. But one of them has a serious problem that threatens his livelihood and - even worse - his onward journey. Instead of being met with understanding, the atmosphere in the car turns into a boiling pot. The problems pile up and take on increasingly ludicrous proportions - until a sense of cohesion develops within the group. Can the travellers mobilize enough solidarity to reach their destination together?
