The numbers are unique: 122 races won in a row, nine years, nine months and nine days unbeaten. Rarely has a sport been so dominated as Edwin Moses' 400m hurdles race in the 1980s. But Michael Wech's dynamic documentary not only celebrates the athlete, but also the tinkerer, the activist and the representative of the African-American civil rights movement. No wonder that Hollywood legends such as Samuel L. Jackson and Spike Lee and executive producer Morgan Freeman pay well-deserved tribute to their idol.
