After a heroin addiction, Vera has found her way to God and to a monastery. In a Belarusian snowy landscape somewhere in the middle of nowhere, she takes care of horses, prisoners and the salvation of her soul. British directors Cécile Embleton and Alys Tomlinson accompanied the young nun in her everyday life, creating magical black and white images of a life that seems to exist beyond time and space. But Vera's spiritual journey is not over yet. She is still searching.
