Hallelujah !!! The full blast of dirty heavy rock'n'roll live at LUX !!!

Motorjesus play traditional heavy metal & dirty rock'n'roll combined in their own special
high-octane mixture. The band has been very active live since the early 2000s and has toured with bands like Motörhead, Anthrax, Mustasch, Der W, Prong and many more. The "Motorjupps" have also made guest appearances at festivals such as Summer Breeze and the Rock Hard Festival.

Although Motorjesus is one of the longest-serving bands in German heavy rock, the attitude of the five guys from the Rhineland can be described as down-to-earth. They are far removed from rock star airs and graces. Their preference for rock'n'roll and 70s muscle cars is often reflected in their cover artwork, where the "Motorized Jesus" has now become a permanent band mascot and is indispensable.

With their last regular studio album "Race to Resurrection" from 2018, Motorjesus entered the German Media Control Charts at number 41.
This was followed by many festivals and their own headlining tour, as well as a support tour for Swedish rockers Mustasch at the end of 2019.
The first live album "Live Resurrection" was subsequently released in February 2020.
Although the coronavirus pandemic put a stop to all of the band's live activities, they were able to focus on a new seventh studio album, which is now being released under the name "Hellbreaker". The album was once again mixed by legendary producer Dan Swanö. The album entered the German album charts at number 20, marking the band's highest chart entry.

This time, Motorjesus deliberately tried to produce a rather compact, fast, explosive album that, contrary to the usual Motorjesus tradition, does without ballads.

Songs such as the thumping "Car Wars", "Battlezone" or the mangy "Dead Rising" exude a slightly punky snot rock attitude, while other songs such as the catchy "Hellbreaker" or the anthemic Judge Dredd tribute song "Lawgiver" are more indebted to the traditional heavy metal of the 80s such as Judas Priest or Iron Maiden.

But even old Motorjesus fans will find typical Motorjesus songs between hard rock, classic rock, stoner and other wide-ranging rock influences in the opener "Drive Through Fire", "Beyond the Grave" or the groove head-nodder "Firebreather". The main thing is that you can shout along loudly and your fists go up.

Above all, the inclusion of the new band line-up, especially new guitarist Patrick Wassenberg, adds fresh ideas, scorching solos and a few new perspectives on songwriting to the Motorjesus sound.
Nevertheless, Motorjesus remain true to themselves and are ready to hit the road with the new album "Hellbreaker" (if possible).
