n 2gether Battle Bxnnie & Clxde Version: Hosted by Luisa und Katharina

For the first time at tanzhaus nrw, dancers Luisa and Katharina are organizing a breaking battle in the format Bxnnie & Clxde. The two have been active in the scene for many years and regularly organize breaking events in NRW. Within the male-dominated field, the Bxnnie & Clxde format breaks with the stereotypical division in which B-girls battle B-girls and B-boys battle B-boys. The format does away with the division according to gender identity and looks for new battle formats in which everyone meets as equals. Battles are deeply rooted in breaking culture. They go beyond mere competition and serve the exchange of skills, dialog and joint learning. The teams of two breakers of different genders face each other in a knockout system. There will be a winning team at the end. The event is aimed at the local breaking scene. We look forward to a lively exchange.
