Ongoing sewing course for children in Lübeck: The friendly dressmaker and pattern director Bea teaches the tricks of the trade for every skill level in the MachBar with a lot of ease, relaxation, sympathy and humor - from sewing for beginners to sewing for advanced sewers. Bea not only brings lots of knowledge, but also accessories, fabrics, machine skills and patterns, all of which you can try out at your leisure.

Would you like to deepen your first knowledge of the sewing machine? Or do you already have a sewing machine license? Did you enjoy it so much that you want to learn more about it? So that you can enjoy this wonderful hobby, I will show you tricks and tips about sewing.
My enthusiasm for sewing began as a child and continues to this day.

If you are at least 8 years old and would like to be shown the advanced basics of sewing, you've come to the right place.

• I will explain the sewing machine to you. This includes: winding the bobbin thread, threading the sewing machine, sewing forwards and backwards, different types of stitches and much more.
• You will be shown different types of fabric and their uses.
• We will take a closer look at patterns and I will explain the most important things to you.
• Of course, I will also show you important rules for cutting and seam allowances.
• We sew your favorite projects

I'll bring along patterns, books and inspiration. As well as a selection of materials for your work. If you have your own sewing machine, it makes sense to bring it along. If not, you are welcome to use a sewing machine from MachBar Lübeck.
