Neue Folkwang Symphoniker meet Transorient Orchestra

In the organizer's words:

As the crowning finale to an eventful anniversary year for the Folkwang Music School, the New Folkwang Symphony Orchestra will perform together with the Transorient Orchestra. While the young orchestral musicians will provide classical and spirited sounds by Georg Bizet and Manuel de Falla, the musicians of the Transorient Orchestra, with their strong roots in oriental music, will provide sophisticated and exotic sounds. In the second part of the program, both orchestras will come together to present works that have been specially composed or arranged for these concerts. It is an exciting and unusual combination of two different ensembles that represents a highly interesting musical symbiosis.
