Her first album Sabah was praised by critics as one of the best albums of 2015. Since then, Nilipek. has influenced the Turkish alternative music scene with a distinctive style of arrangement and vocals that runs through all her releases and collaborations. Her two studio albums Döngü (2017) and Mektuplar (2020) marked a shift towards a louder sound and new forms of storytelling. Their radical interpretation of the classic Turkish song Gözleri Aşka Gülen (2018) was followed three years later (2021) by another unusual cover of the kitschy pop song Bir Gün Beni Arzularsan Gel. In the years that followed, she focused on collaborations and special projects, such as "Castles" with French indie pop singer Oscar Anton and "Vazgeçtim" with Turkish producer Taner Yücel.

The influential singer-songwriter finally released her long-awaited fourth album Uydurduğumuz Oyunlarla in May 2024. The songs promise the listener an uninterrupted 45-minute journey, combining political symbolism in the lyrics with innovative musical arrangements. The album elegantly showcases Nilipek's musical evolution since their first album in 2015.
