Nils Eikmeier Quartett

The Nils Eikmeier Quartet consists of musicians from Cologne who have been active together in various formations for years. They mainly play the band leader's compositions, which are characterized by independent melodies and rich harmonies. This creates multi-layered moods that captivate the listener on more than just an intellectual level. The common basis of the four musicians is always the language of the American jazz tradition, but the band does not shy away from exploring the soundscapes of modern jazz.
