Grunge - Nirvana themselves failed in their attempt to explain the origin of this term. Grungy, from Seattle's garages to the top of the charts. This controversy and the myth surrounding Kurt Cobain has lost none of its fascination. Presumably his influences such as the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath also contributed to the birth of the unmistakable sound of energy-laden riffs, melodic basslines and highly explosive vocals.
More than 30 years after the death of Kurt Cobain, Nirvana's music is still alive.
