This piece - a balancing act between harmony and rebelliousness, between melancholy and irony - was admired in the post-reunification years as a shining gem of vitality. After its great success, the idea was born to perform it again 30 years later. Not as a one-to-one reconstruction, but in the field of tension of maturity.
