Oberneuland sustainability market invites you to attend

On Saturday, August 31, the square at Edeka Maaß in Oberneuland will be transformed into a meeting place for all those interested in sustainability from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Organized by Derik Eicke, Oberneuland Member of Parliament and spokesperson for the Deputation for Environment, Climate and Agriculture, the "Oberneuland Sustainability Market" promises a varied programme.
Well-known institutions such as the climate protection agency for Bremen and Bremerhaven energiekonsens, swb, the consumer protection center, the Bremer Aufbaubank as well as BUND, the Gartenfreunde Bremen and the Bremer Imkerverein will be taking part. Local players such as Fahrrad Bartels and Hof Kaemena from Oberneuland with their wild meadow project will also be presenting themselves with informative stands.

Edeka Maaß, which has been recognized as a sustainable market and will be providing information about its numerous measures, will also be represented. "I am delighted that so many players are taking part. We will be providing information on everything from insect-friendly garden design and specific environmental campaigns that can be supported to advice on bicycles, solar energy, heat pumps and climate funding programs," explains Derik Eicke.

In addition to the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information, the market also offers space for discussions and direct exchanges with experts. The SPD advisory group and Derik Eicke himself will be available for discussions and are looking forward to lively interest from the public. "Sustainability affects us all and only together can we shape positive change," emphasizes Eicke.

The "Oberneulander Sustainability Market" therefore promises not only a wealth of valuable information, but also an opportunity to take action and work together for a sustainable future. Free admission, all interested parties are cordially invited to drop by and be inspired.
