Öffentliche Führung zur Sonderausstellung „Alles wie verzaubert“ – 200 Jahre Heines Harzreise

In the fall of 1824, Heinrich Heine set off on a hike through the Harz Mountains. The wealth of impressions unleashed an extraordinary creative power in the student and young writer. This resulted in a travelogue combining a wide variety of literary genres. With his "Harzreise", Heine broke new ground as a writer and at the same time created one of the most popular classics in German-language literary history. 200 years after that famous hike, the text has lost none of its fascination. To mark the anniversary, the exhibition is dedicated to both Heine's real and literary journey, which visitors can also experience through their senses.
