For several years now, Odonien has hosted an annual summer cinema, which we have curated again this year together with FILM FESTIVAL COLOGNE. For some films there will be a small program before and after the film, all information can be found in the event information.

Anoosh Raki and Arash Shadram aka Blade&Beard are friends, partners and musicians - in Tehran, Iran. It's no secret that the two techno DJs have a tough time there: Nothing is free and easy there. Parties with electronic music are just as forbidden as the release of corresponding recordings. So how can they pursue their passion, how can they realize themselves? The documentary accompanies Anoosh and Arash through their everyday lives in Tehran - as they try to organize a party, procure the technology for it, inspire guests, but also as they contemplate fleeing the country, their turmoil over it and ultimately the fortunate circumstance of being able to accept an invitation to the Lethargy Festival in Zurich, as the state authorities actually grant their travel request ...
