Open Stage im Treibhaus (incl. DANIEL HE, BENJI HOLIDAY & NINA)

An open stage jam session for young Munich residents! And everyone can play! Bring your own instruments or use the ones on site!

You don't make music? Dance performances, stand-up comedy, poetry slams, readings, ... everything is possible, no rules!

Free admission on a donation basis.

Three newcomer acts from Munich will be opening: Nina, Daniel He and Benji Holiday:

Nina Instagram

Nina has been writing her own piano pieces since elementary school.
She taught herself to play the guitar.
As a globetrotter, she sings in English, German, Spanish and Swahili.
Nina makes music with many people, but mainly performs solo.
For Nina, writing songs is like writing a diary.
Her songs are full of anecdotes, memories and feelings.

Daniel He Instagram │ Spotify

The 23-year-old queer Daniel He comes from Wuhan in China.
He recorded his first album alone on an iPad.
Daniel sings about personal loss, grief and moving on.
His singing and guitar playing are profound and stylistically confident.
Daniel He's music is reminiscent of Nick Drake and Elliott Smith.

Benji Holiday Instagram │ Spotify

With his music, the German-Ghanaian newcomer and Munich native Benji Holiday moves between hip-hop, soul and jazz.
His multi-layered, laid-back arrangements are created during jam sessions with musician friends.
The result is a relaxed atmosphere of dreamy guitar riffs, warm Rhodes sounds and groovy bass lines.
Benji masters many instruments and art forms. He is a singer, rapper, guitarist, bassist, drummer, model and photographer.

Treibhaus

The Treibhaus youth center organizes a monthly concert series"Treibhaus Acts" with three local, young bands or solo musicians. Treibhaus is supported by the Schule Beruf association and sponsored by the City of Munich's Social Department and District Committee 19. Its young staff attach great importance to affordable admission and drink prices - beer 0.5l for €3, mineral water 0.3l for €1 - and to giving a stage to young musicians who are just starting out and can easily ask for performance opportunities on Instagram or booking@treibhausmuenchen.de

The Treibhaus staff are present in large numbers on concert evenings and ensure moderate alcohol consumption (tap water is free of charge), as well as a peaceful, open, respectful and confidential atmosphere. Please listen carefully to the musicians. The youth center welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds. Queer people are expressly invited. Admission from 14 years, children between 6-14 years accompanied.
