Many new raw materials from Africa are needed for the energy transition. Authoritarian China is ahead there; Europe now wants to catch up. But there is resistance on the ground. After the ARTE film premiere, we talk to director Jan-Philipp Scholz and political scientist Melanie Müller about the adventurous hunt for resources in Africa.
