This Thursday: The 415s
The ensemble "The 415s" consists of young musicians from Brazil, Russia and Hong Kong. They came together as part of the Bremen University of the Arts to expand the boundaries of the repertoire for historical instruments. The ensemble is united by a love not only for baroque music, but also for folk music, Liverpool rock'n'roll and modern music. They perform their concerts on voice and baroque instruments (harpsichord, transverse flute, viola da gamba), but their repertoire ranges from pieces of 17th century sonatas to Beatles songs.
The line-up:
Nae Matakas - vocals
