OSTsisters // Frontstage

Two young actors have left their home country for different reasons. One comes from Russia, the other from Ukraine. Now they are on stage together. Always present in the background: the war. It influences the audience's view of the two. And the attitude of the performers, who deal with questions of heroism, masculinity and patriotism. In personal stories, Bogdan Kapon and Ivan Borisov show vulnerability, question their own identity and the attributions with which they are confronted. In FRONTSTAGE - a production by the Swiss collective OSTsisters, which has already celebrated a series of festival successes - acting becomes a (survival) strategy. And a way to meet each other: coexistence is possible.
