The Pablo Held Trio is currently one of the liveliest and most important formations in European jazz.

It transcends the boundaries between composition and improvisation by dispensing with fixed arrangements - a sequence of themes and a predetermined way of presenting them - at concerts. The risk of radical spontaneity has given the trio wings for years, so that it has become a model of an aesthetic that can only be found in a few artists.

The cohesion of the Pablo Held Trio is based on friendship and the creative will to constantly break new ground. The artistic weight and independence of the three exceptional musicians is a point of attraction for a growing circle of congenial musicians from Europe and America, who frequently expand the trio.
