Theatrical montage based on Georg Büchner's complete works | world premiere

PALAIS ROYAL is a montage of texts and motifs from Georg Büchner's 200-year-old complete works. Re-thought and questioned for its applicability to an atomized society. A community comes to light for which old certainties have disappeared, but for which a perspective for the future is not yet recognizable. Work everywhere and restless automatons in the firm grip of an all-encompassing compulsion to produce, but that is not enough for us! "A mistake was made in the way we were created; we lack something, I have no name for it-" The following perform: Leonce and Lena, Danton's Death, Woyzeck, letters, Lenz, cranial nerves and barbs, forms of life and state, modern working conditions, people and objects, music and the question of the whereabouts of social equality and possibilities for love. A poetic evening of theater about the creaking and failure of discontinued models, but also about the dreams of young and well-oiled machines.
