Pictures From Nadira

Fragile existence, shaken by violence, energy and destruction. The tearing down of emotional silence in chaos and utopia. Pictures From Nadira let their audience participate in this with their powerful walls of sound and fragile sounds.

Motivated by this symbiosis, the four-piece post-rock band from Munich has been dedicated to a common music since 2015, which is carried and driven by emotions, atmosphere and energy.
In addition to post-rock, they also draw on genres such as black metal, shoe-gaze and noise. Influences from Caspian, This will Destroy you and Deafheaven are recognizable.

What the two guitars pack into fragile, complementary melodies with spherical sounds and endless tones is often torn down in the next moment by brute walls of sound. This is supported by an omnipresent bass that is able to set emotionally indispensable punchlines. With lashing cymbals and driving beats, the drums lead the way to the emotional climax of the songs.

The entire show is accompanied by a specially installed light show that completes the sound in all its extremes.

While the debut album Nadira (release Fluttery Records) was already very well received in 2017 and received over 300k views on YouTube, the second album Morula (also Fluttery Records) 2020 was a good introduction to the band's development in its current direction.
The energetic live show was proven, among other things, as support for "Tides From Nebula", as well as on a joint tour through Germany and Switzerland with label mates "What Aleph Said".
