Pippi - Ikone des weißen Feminismus?

Interview with Silke Burmester, Palais Fluxx founder and publicist, and Alisha Heinemann, Professor of Educational Science, Educational Trajectories and Diversity

Strong, courageous, adventurous and headstrong - this is how the character of Pippi is written and she is celebrated as an icon of white feminism. But what is behind the imperative "Be Pippi, not Annika"? Taking the character of "Pippi" as our starting point, we would like to look at representations in children's and young adult literature from a feminist and decolonial perspective. The event offers an opportunity to reinterpret and understand well-known stories and characters from a critical, contemporary perspective.
