EXHIBITION OPENING DAY

Exciting stories, enchantingly illustrated - who doesn't know them, the small, square PIXI books? For many children, a PIXI is the first book they have chosen for themselves; adult readers hoard their PIXIs and pass them on to the next generation. To mark the 70th anniversary of the legendary children's book series, the Literaturhaus München is showing the celebrated exhibition from Hamburg. On the big PIXI opening weekend (SA 7.12. & SO 8.12.), the exhibition invites the whole family on a voyage of discovery from 11 am to 6 pm - with Free admission for all. And on Sunday (SO 8.12.) we invite you to the long PIXI day: at 11.30 am, the Erby children's theater enchants all young and old spectators in the "Christmas bakery". And from 1 pm, actors from Munich's Schauburg theater will read

Is there anything better than being read a story? From 1 pm (and then every half hour and every hour, last reading: 3.30 pm) Simone Oswald and Janosch Fries from the Munich Schauburg read the most beautiful PIXI stories - for everyone aged 3 and over.
