PLAYING WITH FIRE CONCERTS

People hurry through a world they don't understand. Shadows waft through dark moleholes. Lights flash on and go out again. Timetables, working hours, every second chopped up into its individual parts. A million truths, a million lies. Where is there a foothold, where the energy to carry on, where the air to breathe? Feedback cuts through the rusty fog, an angry man steps out of the crowd and violently grabs the microphone. Sounds of an argument come from the background: "Damn, it must be so loud!" - "But then the speakers will explode!" The sound engineer's voice sounds shrill and confused. A scream suddenly drowns out all the chatter and chattering: "I'm angry!!!" Bass roars up. A wall of sound, rhythm changes, tension - exhalation - energy! Brutal rhythms, noise thunderstorms with a run-up. Classic hardcore meets noise rock.

BOLZEN is what's in between. Energetic between the beats, to the rhythm of glittering castanets. Collages in the sparkle of neo-expressive intonation. A dance between the worlds, what was, is and will be. Here we go!

On their third EP "Tumbleweed invasions", BOLZEN tell new stories about circles and pyramids, about body and mind, about firearms and waves. The same bloodcurdling, danceable sound and yet the duo hits new pain points. BOLZEN pull out wisdom teeth with their bare hands. Raise your hands up in the air.
