A panel discussion will be held at the Colombischlössle Archaeological Museum to mark the redesigned treasure chamber. Sebastian Brather, Early Historical Archaeology, Mareike Hartmann, Theology, Art History, and Andrea Kohler, Clinic Pastoral Care, will be taking part. Together they will discuss the changing conceptions of the afterlife. What do burial objects from the early Middle Ages tell us? And what ideas about the afterlife do people of different cultural and religious backgrounds have today? The panel discussion will be moderated by Stefan Orth, editor-in-chief of Herder Korrespondenz. In cooperation with the Catholic Academy. Admission is from 6.30 pm. The number of participants is limited. Admission is free of charge.
