15 years of Poetry in Motion!
Tuesday, March 26, 2024, 8 pm
With Marina Sigl (Stuttgart), Clara Nielsen (Regensburg) and Simeon Buß (Bremen)
Moderation: Ko Bylanzky; on the turntables: Simian Keiser
Shrill and fast or thoughtful, touching and fascinating: since March 2009, the Lyrik Kabinett stage has been attracting visitors once a month with the finest spoken word poetry. Once a month, the international poetry library is transformed into a colorful and dazzling lounge and welcomes the most brilliant minds and virtuoso tongues of the slam scene. Ko Bylanzky, the initiator and organizer of the series, hosts this unique club night, in which three guests - two from outside Munich or Germany and one or one from Munich - rock the room. The evenings take place in combination with the Isar Slam - and the stage artists who inspire in the slam can show different facets in the Lyrik Kabinett with more peace and quiet for half an hour.
Poetry in Motion has given itself a present for its birthday in March 2024, but is happy to share it with its audience. Three extraordinary greats from the German-speaking poetry slam scene will be celebrating the anniversary: Simeon Buß' performances are pure passion, with personal texts and expressive delivery, he has been one of the country's slam elite for a good decade. Marina Sigl from Stuttgart is one of the leading feminist voices in German-language poetry slams, but also captivates the audience with her emotional texts. Clara Nielsen from Regensburg has already made slam history and is celebrating a brilliant comeback after making herself scarce in recent years. The evening will be accompanied by poetry DJ Simian Keiser.
