Born in the summer of 1978 as the idea of two friends from grade school, Nick Jones (vocals) and Bill Napier-Hemy (guitar), they recruited Tony Bardach (bass) and his bandmate Ian Tiles (drums) from the Vancouver scene and soon Gord Nicholl (keyboards) joined the band. The rest is history.
Back in 1979, The Pointed Sticks were signed to Stiff Records. Now they are represented by Northern Electric.
Their latest releases are the albums "Three Lefts Make A Right" (2009) and "Pointed Sticks" (2015).
