After graduation, Sofia wants one thing above all else: to finally return to her home in Sicily to escape the clutches of her stalker. Relieved, she takes up residence in her aunt's rural wine hotel in the coastal town of Castellammare del Golfo, even though she knows that her shadow could always be hot on her heels. Her vigilance wanes when she meets Valentin, a foreign student helping out at her uncle's winery. With his calm nature and perpetually cold expression, the handsome motorcyclist awakens undiscovered desires in her. What Sofia doesn't know, however, is the reason for Valentin's stay in Castellammare: he is looking for someone. When Sofia's hunter catches up with her again and Valentin comes across something terrible during his search, it's not just their pasts that collide, but entire worlds.
