The pomp and costume session of the Große Kölner takes place in the large hall of the Gürzenich. Great care is taken to make the evening as atmospheric as the guests expect it to be. As every Jeck is different, the motto of the costume session is: "From tailcoat to rag clown": you decide for yourself whether you want to come in festive evening wear or imaginative costumes. To ensure that you experience a very special evening with the finest carnival music and profound humor at the highest level, established carnival stars and young artists of distinction have been engaged for you. The guests of the pomp and masquerade costume session will be personally escorted into the main hall by President Dr. Joachim Wüst.
