Queer Ancestors

Queer people have always had to look for role models outside their families. But who are these role models and how do they influence queer life? In a biographical-historical journey, the ensemble has embarked on a search for a family history beyond genetic connections. They met pioneers of queer activism and life, searched their own biographies for the moment when everything changed and created queer utopias. The result is an evening between yesterday, today and tomorrow, an evening with stories about self-determination and finding one's identity, about turning away from role models and trying out different concepts of life. The result is an evening that not only appeals to queers, but also shows us all that we are not alone with the questions "Who am I?" and "How do I want to live?".
