Quirinello
Dream pop, Sturm & Drang, lo-fi indie and plenty of growing pains and melancholy: Quirinello are tinkering with their "beautifully dreamy sound", as the Süddeutsche Zeitung described the young Munich band, in the best home recording aesthetic and will deliver the perfect soundtrack for Generation Z with their debut album "melancholyMe" in the fall of 2022. Lots of reverb, dreamy synths and a wistful coming-of-age story earned the band critical acclaim and concerts throughout Germany, from Berlin to Hamburg and Cologne to Munich. First in English, more recently in German, Quirinello continue to refine their work.

Luka Blau's answer is: "Bisschen Beides", the title and title track of his debut album, which was released in April 2024.
The songs by the up-and-coming Munich singer/songwriter go far beyond the usual genre boundaries and address topics such as the fast pace of life, self-centeredness, homelessness and powerlessness in times of war. But his songs also tell of the small wonders of life and, of course, love. So, despite the heaviness of the topics, one thing above all is celebrated:
Life is celebrated, with everything that goes with it.
Starting out as a solo project, LUKA BLAU now prefers to perform with a live band. Betty Akhigbe (bass, vocals), Vincent Crusius (drums) and Mayso Schindele (trombone) then transform the acoustic singer-songwriter music into a pop sound that is both modern and yet far removed from the mainstream.

A bit of both.
