Everyone is celebrating. The police are celebrating record finds weighing tons. Organized crime is celebrating profits that exceed the gross domestic product of entire countries. And Germany is celebrating in the clubs with the stuff that dreams are supposedly made of.
From the executive floors of large corporations to fine dining restaurants and the party scene for young people - one thing is certain: cocaine is booming. And it leaves a trail of violence in its wake. Bomb attacks and kidnappings in the middle of Cologne. Shootings and torture. Blackmail and money laundering. What sounds like the plot of a mafia movie is happening right here and now. But who pays the price for the party?
nö theater takes the audience into the hidden structures of the global cocaine trade - from the coca plantations in South America to the streets of NRW.
