"Dub Funk Session" - this is the name of the solo album by Düsseldorf musician Ralf Stritt, which was recently released on the Italian label Irma Records. And this is exactly what you can expect at the concert in Schleuse Zwei: analog synthesizers meet precision bass, drum machines meet relaxed percussion; conventional boundaries are broken down to make way for an extraordinary atmosphere. In his work, Stritt combines influences from funk, avant-garde sounds and impressive soundscapes that merge into a unique listening experience. He will be accompanied by the virtuoso jazz guitarist Michael Pott, whose improvisations enrich the musical concept and perfectly complement the interplay of electronics and jazz.
