Rauxa Cie: Papiertheater (Teatro de Papel)

Everything floats: contemporary circus, puppetry and clowning | Ages 4 and up

A quirky character takes us into his world of fantasy creatures. Using paper and scissors, he creates happy companions to ease the burden of his loneliness. Through impressive feats and under the astonished eyes of their master, his accomplices whisk us away into a world where everything floats and is carried by fantasy and poetry.

The RAUXA company was founded by Xavi Sanchez and Analia Serenelli, both circus artists, object manipulators, acrobats, tightrope walkers and dancers. They met in 2015 when they performed in the show "La Dernière Saison du Cirque Plume". In 2018, they founded RAUXA to create their own universe. With an innovative concept of puppetry, combined with a unique body language, they convey their tragicomic-poetic view of life. "Teatro de Papel" is their second play.
