Red On + Subrihanna

**** Live audio/visual Ambient Electronic, Bass, Future Pop ****

Where does pop begin and experimental music end? Instead of drawing boundaries, Red On explores the spaces between these supposed poles with his latest album "Phantom Easy". Together with visual artist Subrihanna, he has been touring for years with an audiovisual live set that is constantly intensifying: A multi-layered image and sound cosmos of mystical 3D worlds, ambient electronics, nature recordings, pop, strobes and krautrock. In their performances, the two oscillate between kitsch and club and combine the coldness of contemporary aesthetics with welcoming warmth. Through the repetition of sung phrases and video loops, the concerts and video works by Red On + Subrihanna develop an urgency that is hard to resist. The result is pop that is adventurous, or experimental a/v installations that aren't afraid to showcase catchy hooks and big melodies.

The album "Phantom Easy" will be released on March 22, 2024 on the Swiss label Präsens Editionen, where like-minded artists such as Martina Lussi, Belia Winnewisser and Magda Drozd explore similar spaces.

**** Live Ambient Electronic(a), Experimental ****

Sounds are everywhere, and so is music. Giovanni Raabe has been exploring their fusion with curiosity for a long time. His music is intuitive, organic and electronic - the focus is not on equipment, but solely on the creative core.
After releasing the beat-driven EP Trias #008 (Trias Records) and the film score Water Tower (La Double Vie) in 2021 under his birth name, Skin (Katuktu Collective) is his first EP as Brnjsmin since Wind bei Nacht (Verydeeprecords) from 2020. Socialized as a drummer in local metal and hardcore scenes, he now focuses on solo music for albums, films, installations, for theater and performances. Giovanni Raabe lives and works in Munich, Germany.
