Kazakhstan, known for its impressive canyons, colorful mountains, vast steppes and picturesque lakes, is one of the most diverse countries in the world. The capital Astana is an architectural glimpse into the day after tomorrow. How can you best travel to this safe country?

In Kyrgyzstan, Niklas is welcomed by semi-nomads and lets you soar through the majestic mountains with his drone. He explores over 300 kilometers of Kyrgyz nature on horseback and on foot. But what happens when a driver suddenly pulls out a gun while hitchhiking?

Despite the closed border , he manages to reach the legendary Pamir Highway in Tajikistan . On the 2,000 kilometers, there are plenty of opportunities for new acquaintances, communication difficulties and delicacies that take some getting used to. His expedition to the Afghan border becomes a challenge that pushes him to his limits - but the warm hospitality motivates him to persevere.
