After last year's successful premiere, re:publica - Europe's largest digital and social conference - is once again presenting a diverse program as part of the Reeperbahn Festival. From September 19-21, lectures, workshops, panel discussions and performances will take place at the heart of the festival on Heiligengeistfeld. The most important topics relating to the internet, its communities and the opportunities and challenges that lie in the digitalization of society will be discussed in exciting formats on a total of three stages.
What (digital) world do we want to live in?
The re:publica Hamburg program will shed light on current socio-political debates and bring discussions about technology design, AI and net culture to the stage.
It will be about the shift to the right in our society and engagement against it. The super election year 2024, the influence and role of internet culture in the election campaign and the impact of the results on digital policy.
And: at the Reeperbahn Festival, re:publica will focus more than ever on the topic of "music": from generational change in the music industry, club culture and the role of technology in music curation to sounding climate data and music created by AI tools.
Also taking part are:
...and many more!
