Resistance Through Their Eyes

Vernissage of the special exhibition with lecture and music:

The BADEHAUS place of remembrance is pleased to present the newly conceived traveling exhibition "Resistance Through Their Eyes" in its rooms. The exhibition focuses on the resistance actions and fates of young people during the Second World War who fought against war, injustice, totalitarianism, hatred, racism and anti-Semitism in Germany, Holland, Italy and Poland. The exhibition is organized by the European Foundation LRE in cooperation with the White Rose Foundation (Germany), the City of Milan / Institute Ferrucio Parri (Italy), the Resistance Museum Amsterdam (Netherlands) and the Museum of the Home Army Krakow (Poland). A supplementary version is available online. For Germany, the biographies of Traute Lafrenz and Hans Scholl, who were important members of the Munich resistance group "White Rose", will be presented.

Dr. Hildegard Kronawitter, Chairwoman of the White Rose Foundation, will open the vernissage with a lecture entitled "Resistance biographies from four countries - similarities and differences". The event will be accompanied by classical music. Afterwards, the BADEHAUS memorial site invites you to a reception.
