Retrogott and Hulk Hodn is a German rap group from Cologne, consisting of MC Retrogott and DJ Hulk Hodn. They currently have a contract with the Cologne record label Entourage Business. Lyrically, they can be classified as provocative battle rap that criticizes the negative aspects of life. They distance themselves from commercial rap. Retrogod's striking lyrics often contain references to musical role models from the so-called Golden Era of rap, such as Big - L, Nas or Too Short. With Radiowecker and Schlangen sind gesprächig (Snakes are poisonous), Retrogott and Hulk Hodn pay tribute to the German rap pioneers Stieber Twins in several tracks.
